What To Expect

If you are interested in meeting with Dawn, first that would begin by meeting online through Zoom Video Conferencing (or another video platform) for a 15-minute complimentary Strategy Call. This is your opportunity to tell her more about yourself, your goals, to ask questions, and to feel comfortable with the process. Dawn will also thoroughly explain how hypnosis works and how it can help you along with seeing if you and she are a good fit to work together. There are no expectations or obligations in this call. This time together is important and necessary, as Dawn is able to gather all the information needed, so your sessions are tailored to you specifically and what you want to get out of it.

How will Hypnotherapy feel?

Hypnosis is a safe, natural relaxed state and one which you have experienced many times before (sometimes many times a day). You are aware and in control at all times. It feels like being half awake and half asleep, so your body is very relaxed and your mind is active.


You hear

You hear the majority of what Dawn says and sometimes consciously drift away from the words towards a deeper level of consciousness (still aware), so it feels very relaxing. There will be 'chatter' that comes and goes during your session in your mind. This is natural and when it happens, just be aware of it, then let it fade away. Your most hypnotic times of day are upon awakening or before you go to sleep, so this will feel natural. Hypnosis feels very comfortable and in this quiet state, your mind is more responsive to the positive suggestions. Everybody enjoys their sessions, as it’s time for you to relax, unwind and focus on your goals.

To be successful with your online hypnotherapy sessions the following things need to be in place in advance:

  • A reliable Internet connection
  • Corded, plugged in headphones (Bluetooth headphones can drop the connection at any time)
  • The device fully charged and/or plugged in for the duration of the session
  • In a space where you will not be interrupted unless absolutely necessary
  • Pets put into another room
  • All electronics turned off or put on Do Not Disturb mode or silent
  • Commitment to your session
  • A quiet location
  • Refrain from drinking caffeinated or alcoholic beverages 3 hours prior to the session
