Have you ever wondered or felt like you needed more clarity, but just didn’t know how to get it or what to do? Without clarity in our lives we can really feel like we are just spinning our wheels and not really moving forward. If we get stuck in this ‘trap’ for a while, then everything around us, personally and professionally can feel off, including your relationship with yourself.
Clarity is necessary to create a fulfilling life and without it we can attract chaos, which in turns, creates an overall dissatisfaction in our lives, like we have no purpose.
Let’s face it, we have all been there, in a place of uncertainty, lost, and confusion. The good news is that this is not an end but actually a new beginning. A new beginning, a fresh start to open yourself up to what’s about to come into your life. If YOU make the decision and choose “yes, I’m ready to make this change”….which will, yes, include you doing some inner work.

When these times of uncertainty and doubt creep in, some will use those feeling and emotions as an identity within themselves and become part of their circumstance; complacent, possibly bringing on the victim mentally and be paralyzed by fear. When this fear comes in, it’s important to acknowledge it and then take some time to ask yourself some really BIG questions. Maybe the ones you really don’t want to ask, because you are not sure of the answers, or are scared of the unknown.
These BIG questions that might immediately go through your head might include: “What should I do next?” “Why am I here”, “What is my purpose?” “How do I find my true passion?” Asking these types of questions will not bring us where we need or want to go anytime soon. We need to do an ‘attitude adjustment.”
Here are 3 ways to gain more clarity when you are just not sure what to do in life.
1. Take Responsibility
Now this one can be one of the most challenging ones for some because it requires going within ourselves. Doing that inner, deep work. The clarity you seek will not come from an outside source. Take full responsibly for your life right now! All of it, the good, the bad and the ugly. By going inwards and taking personal responsibility for where we are in life, that will help to prevent ourselves from trying to lay blame on others. This is an easy scape goat to take,

but honestly, the only person truly responsible for where you are in life, right now is you and blaming others will solve nothing.
The key ingredient here is to DECIDE to do whatever is necessary in order to create that clarity, and stop the “I don’t know what to do” speech. Make the decision and MAKE IT HAPPEN!
2. Get Clear on What Creates Clarity
We all know all too well that some actions we take make us feel more positive and vibrant and others steal our energy away from us. The problem is that when we get stuck in life, we lose our ability to ‘see’ and we fail to bring our attention to what we are doing, acting upon, saying out loud and the words we say to ourselves. All this is directed back onto ourselves and affects our mindset.
Time to take some action to bring that clarity about with the following:

Winning your morning daily by getting up on time or even early, taking the time to eat a healthy nutrient dense breakfast, journaling some thoughts on paper (there is a lot of power when pen is put to paper), visualization and doing Lofty Affirmations (more on this below) will all help you to get into that positive state to create a successful, and productive day.
Physical movement (this doesn’t have to be a HIIT class), gentle stretching, body weight exercises, anything for 10-15 minutes that will get the blood flowing and energy pumping is so necessary to clear the cob webs out and allow for more space so for the creative juices to flow.
Now, back to those Lofty Affirmations! While listening to a podcast I came across these affirmations on steroids! Lofty Affirmations are not your regular affirmations that you may know all too well. “I am this”….”I am that”…."I am attracting this”….”I am attracting that”…There can be some resistance that comes up with these “I AM” affirmations because the person saying them may not be convinced of the final outcome and so they feel like they are lying to themselves and it just doesn’t ‘feel good’ to them. By using lofty affirmations this allows the energy to easily flow in the right direction…’downstream’ as Abraham Hicks says, by tricking our brain by asking questions. These lofty questions assume that your desired reality has already been manifested, directing your attention to the idea that they are already true.

Here are some examples of Lofty Affirmations:
- Why am I surrounded by bliss and happiness no matter what?
- Why am I able to accomplish so much with so little time?
- Why am I always surrounded by love and incredible people that I feel deeply connected to?
- Why am I so brilliant, so genius and able to tap into source energy for instant inspiration?
- Why am I so good at keeping, making and multiplying money?
- Why do I have such a clear vision of what I want?

Now let me get back to our action step of gaining more clarity.
-Having a clean and tidy home and work environment
-Having a daily routine with structure to allow for balance
-Getting adequate amounts and quality of sleep, nutrition and exercise
-Avoiding or cutting back on substances like alcohol, nicotine and the like that distort our emotions and thoughts
-Staying connected to friends and family by talking and sharing
-Working towards a goal you have set for yourself
-Cutting down on negativity and drama with breathing exercises, focusing in the present moment and being grateful for even the little things you have in your life.
As you can imagine, what brings about confusion into our life, is the opposite of the above. Let’s not focus on that stuff. Lol
3. Goal Setting & Implementation
Without having goals in our life and chasing after these goals and aspirations, we will be missing balance. Working towards something purposeful gives us meaning. When we give and serve others, we feel good and by allowing ourselves to give more to others, leading with a servants heart, this allows us to attract more joy and happiness and abundance.

If you’re not sure of a goal, don’t get hung up on this. Pick something small that you can come up with in 60 seconds and write it down. Then start working toward it. By being indecisive, this puts us into the upstream state of not being in flow, going against the current, so then we will attract more of the same unwanted behaviour. Man, I sure can tell I’ve spent some time studying as I’m creating this.
The next step is imperative!! Implementation. We can set all the goals in the world, big and small, but without action and implementation, we will continue to stay in the same place.
Below are some goals that anyone can set in times when clarity is lacking.
-Meditate; have silence for 15 minutes a day to start and this can include the practice of Self Hypnosis. To learn more on this CLICK HERE. Self hypnosis allows you to tap into your DEVINE to do your inner work, QUICKLY at a more enlightened state than the average person can get to with practicing meditation alone.
-Get outside and move your body. Go for a walk, exercise 30 minutes a day (this can be broken up into bite size pieces and it’s still effective).

-Spend quality time with family everyday. Put down your phone. (airplane mode-face down)
-Learn a new skill in something that interests you. (udemy.com)
One of the main things that some people forget about is how important it is to get daily movement and exercise. Our body needs to move. When we don’t move our bodies (from sitting all the time) they will break down faster than we have ever wanted it to happen. So, schedule your exercise in your day, just like you schedule your work projects and tasks in daily. Remember to SHOW UP for YOU!
Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Asking for help is OK. If you are feeling stuck and just can’t seem to get unstuck on
your own, seek help. There are some great alternatives out there for people who don’t want to share emotions, feelings and past experiences with a counsellor or traditional talk therapist.
Check out Clinical Hypnotherapy. Some hypnotherapist have advanced training in techniques and protocols where you don’t have to relive any of your past trauma, drama or uncomfortable emotions and feelings and they help you so you can eliminate, delete, and erase those unwanted habits and behaviours for good, to no longer have that power over you. (This is not removing memories or experience as that would be completely unethical) Seeing a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist is life changing and can be done all over a video call online, (more affective than face to face) with most issues being resolves 95% faster than traditional therapy.

You don’t have to go at it alone. There has been no successful person in the world; Oprah, Tony Robbins, Brené Brown, Lisa Nichols, Gary Vaynerchuk (you know where I’m going with this) that has done it all alone. Seek help, get guidance from mentors, etc. Whatever you feel is the right fit for you. If you don’t know what to do, someone you know already can help you either directly or indirectly and save you months, years, and possibly decades of failure and frustration.
Takeaways
If you are unsure of where to go in life, what to do, don’t wait for clarity to show up magically in your life. You are the creator of your own canvas. You create your own masterpiece. You create your own thoughts, emotions, habits and actions, both consciously and unconsciously. It’s
very true, as I’m sure you have heard this saying before…’our thoughts become things’. ‘Like attracts like’. Your subconscious mind does not know what is real or imagined so whatever you spend your time thinking about, that is what will be attracted into your life, with 100% certainty, eventually.
Learn conscious language, and study the law of attraction to find our more on this. When you nurture a seed, you plant it in nutrient rich soil, water it regularly, give it the adequate sunlight, wind and rain. It will then grow into a beautiful flower or tree. That is how you want to treat yourself, just like you would if you were growing your favourite flower, wanting it to last for as long as possible. Giving it the love it needs daily, just like you do to the flower.

Take action, create forward movement by working on your goals, exercise, meditate/silence or self hypnosis (very cool to be able to do this change work yourself with your superconscious mind in less than 5 minutes a day, and seek help if what you are doing is not working for you in the timeframe you’d like it to be resolved by.
Decide, Implement and find your clarity!
To your success,
